Etihad Airways has launched a new addition to the fleet, the Airbus A350.
The A350 is one of the most sustainable aircraft in the world and produces 25% less fuel burn and CO2 emissions.
The plane is also 1kg lighter per seat, is 50% quieter than other planes and reduces the use of single-use plastics.
The business class in the A350 plane has received upgrades with forward-facing suites with doors for privacy, a fully flat bed as well as a place to store things, 18.5-inch screens and wireless charging ports.
Additionally, the economy class has seats that recline and also offer extra comfort, a 13inch screen as well as a personal device holder for streaming and working.
The inaugural flight left Abu Dhabi for Paris Charles de Gaulle, and flights are currently available for use to shorter and mid-range destinations like Mumbai and Delhi and will add longer routes like Chicago and New York to the schedule by July.
