The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) has reported that the number of students in higher education in Dubai has increased.
According to the data collected, annual enrolment growth has increased by 3.6%.
Over 29,000 students are currently enrolled in various university programmes.
Dubai currently has 34 universities and higher education institutions with around 600 courses to enrol in.
28% of students enrolled come from outside the UAE.
The top three programmes students have enrolled in are business, information technology and engineering, with a big increase in enrolment for information technology.
