His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council has announced the change in public parking in Dubai.
According to the new change, instead of Friday, free parking will be available for all on Sunday and on public holidays.
Paid parking will take place daily from 8am to 10pm.
Multi-storey parking spaces will be charged throughout the week.
Cars can be parked in public parking spaces for a maximum of four consecutive hours, for 24 hours in parking lots and for 30 days in multi-storey spaces.
The Director General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority can change and reduce timings for paid parking, exempt certain categories of people, areas and timings from paid parking.
