The Dubai Can campaign since it was launched just over one month ago has surpassed expectations.
Since the launch, over 117,000 litres of water have been consumed from dispensers around Dubai which reduced 234,000 500ml single-use plastic bottles.
In line with World Water Day, five additional water fountains have been added at Jumeirah 2 and Sunset Beach, JBR, Al Safa Park and at Mushrif National Park, with the total count set at 39.
By December 2022, 50 more water dispensers will be added to the city.
