Dubai Land Department along with Property Finder has launched the first Residential Rental Performance Index (RRPI).
The rental index will help analyse the rental market.
564,036 leases were signed in 2021 and broke a 12-year record, for the volume of real estate rental contracts.
In comparison to 2020, 50.3% of annual leases were increased with non-annual leases increased by 75.5% in 2021.
Over 51,452 rental contracts in the Dubai market including both new and renewal contracts were signed in January 2022.
In 2022, according to Ejari Registrations, Jabal Ali First followed by Naifand Al Karama saw the most rental contract registrations.
According to Property Finder, Dubai Marina was the most searched for rental places with Jumeirah, Dubai Hills Estate and The Springs, accounting for searches regarding villas and townhouses.
