Ski Dubai, in Mall of the Emirates, has been awarded the title of the ‘World’s Best Indoor Ski Resort’ for the sixth time in a row.
The accolade was given during the World Ski Awards, which is known for setting a benchmark in the ski hospitality industry.
The ski resort was nominated among 10 internationally-recognised indoor ski resorts in Egypt, Germany, China, Spain, Scotland, New Zealand and the Netherlands.
Ski Dubai is the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East and opened its doors to the public in 2005. The resort now features five ski slopes, a snow park and the Penguin Encounter, which is home to a colony of King and Gentoo penguins.
