The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced an update to the protocols required to enter Abu Dhabi.
To enter the emirate from within the UAE, individuals that have been vaccinated need to present a green pass on the Al Hosn App and unvaccinated individuals need to get a PCR test done to enter, which is valid for 96 hours.
EDE scanners will also be set up to test if an individual may be positive with the virus.
The change will take into effect on 30 December.
The new entry protocol will help in ensuring the safety of all citizens, tourists and residents.
