Ain Dubai is now officially open and has welcomed its first visitors.
The opening of the world's largest and tallest observation wheel was marked with a stunning light, drone and fireworks show.
The inaugural journey took place at 2pm on Thursday 21 October, where visitors who had pre-booked tickets experienced the 38 minute journey taking in 360 degree views of Dubai from up to 250 metres high.
As the evening set in, a spectacular light show along with drones and fireworks thrilled the thousands who had gathered at Ain Dubai Plaza to enjoy the first day of a 2 day line up of entertainment.
Speaking at the launch, Ronald Drake, General Manager of Ain Dubai said, “It was a proud moment for us to host such a celebration to officially welcome the world, allowing so many visitors the chance to experience much of what Ain Dubai has to offer.
