The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that birth certificates can now be issued through WhatsApp.
The service will allow individuals to receive their certificates with ease and will additionally increase customer experience.
With the help of the virtual assistant, customers can make their requests and with the data received, the transaction happens conveniently.
The virtual assistant can also differentiate between individuals that are registered with MoHAP and can interact based on the information provided as well as retrieve stored data from the user's profile.
While interacting through WhatsApp, the privacy of the user, as well as the messages exchanged, are encrypted for higher levels of security and reliability.
The new smart service was announced at GITEX Technology Week 2021.
Samir Al Khoury, Director of IT Department, MoHAP said, “Taking part at GITEX Technology Week is yet another opportunity to showcase the ministry’s latest innovative services developed to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of its customers.
