The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has announced that a holiday will be given to the federal government to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
The holiday will fall on Thursday, 21 October.
Additionally, the holiday has also been confirmed for the private sector, by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.
There are still some more public holidays to look forward to after that, with holidays to mark Commemoration Day on 30 November followed by the UAE's 50th National Day on 2 December.
