The Dubai Fitness Challenge is coming back again later this month and will be held for 30 days from 29 October to 27 November.
Running for a fifth year, the fitness challenge will offer a range of free fitness events, activities and classes to all and aims to encourage individuals to stay active.
The challenge is an initiative by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
Three Fitness Villages at Kite Beach, Expo 2020 and Mushrif Park, 14 fitness hubs in business and residential areas across the city as well as 5,000 free live and virtual fitness classes will be held.
The Fitness Village at Kite Beach will offer 15 sports and fitness zones with activities and classes including HIIT training, yoga, spinning and water sports.
The main stage will feature live sessions from top fitness instructors and a pop-up padel tennis court has been set up on the beach.
The Fitness Village at Expo 2020 will host the Expo 2020 Dubai Run, a Global Fitness Stage, a football pitch, cricket nets, a gym as well as a multi-sports area.
The third Fitness Village at Mushrif Park will have six zones with family-friendly activities, special workout spaces for women, aqua Zumba and aerobics and a dedicated kids zone with obstacle courses and skill challenges.
The Dubai Run and the Dubai Ride will also be back at Sheikh Zayed Road for the fifth edition of the Fitness Challenge.
Additionally, the Dubai Padel Cup will take place over the course of three days with professionals and amateurs playing in various categories based on their abilities.
