The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has revealed the results from a survey carried out by the Ministry of Community Development (MOCD), regarding the return to normal life in the UAE.
The survey was conducted in August 2021 and showed that 94% of individuals in the UAE are optimistic of a return to normalcy compared to only 34% being optimistic in April 2020.
In April 2020, 25% had a sense of trust and safety but now 95% of people feel a sense of trust and safety.
Other findings from the recent survey showed that:
- 73% of people have supported that students should now return to in-person classes
- 79% supporting the return to the workplace at full capacity
- 90% of individuals support the gradual return to mosques as well as other places of worship
