Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that the shuttle bus, E101 route between Dubai and Abu Dhabi will resume.
The bus service is in coordination with Abu Dhabi’s Integrated Transport Centre to help transport people between the two emirates.
Route E101 will start from Ibn Battuta bus station in Dubai and goes towards the Central bus station in Abu Dhabi.
Individuals travelling need to follow all the precautionary measures set in Abu Dhabi.
Vaccinated individuals with a green status on Al Hosn App and the letter E or Star can enter with unvaccinated individuals only allowed to enter if a negative PCR test is taken 48 hours prior.
A DPI test cannot be used to enter Abu Dhabi twice in a row.
Adel Shakri, Director of Planning and Business Development, Public Transport Agency said, “This route is critical to the integration of mass transit means between the two emirates and the smooth movement of passengers. RTA stresses the importance of complying with all the applicable precautionary measures, such as physical distancing and wearing of masks to curb the spread of the COVID-19. It calls upon all Dubai Bus and Intercity Bus riders to observe these measures for the public health of the UAE community.”
