Waverider, an entertainment company along with Galaxy Racer (GXR), a Dubai-based eSports organisation, has announced that the first edition on POPC Live!, which will be held in Dubai.
The festival will run for five days and will be the biggest eSports, comics and YouTuber pop culture festival in the Middle East.
Supported by Brand Dubai, the festival will take place in March 2022.
Pop culture panels, workshops, concerts and conferences as well as an eSports Zone and tournaments will be held.
Leading developers, publishers and eSports teams will be a part of the event as well as international social media stars and industry leaders.
The eSports Zone will include tournaments like PUBG Mobile, League of Legends and DOTA2 as well as the GIRLGAMER World Finals with the opportunity to win millions of dirhams in prize money.
Comic fans will also get to enjoy the Artists Alley, Cinema Club, celebrity meet-and-greets and more.
Amid all the activity and fun, the main stage will feature a line-up of regional and international music for all to enjoy.
