Vaccination Certificate Process For Passengers Travelling To Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Media Office

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced the process for individuals to verify international vaccination certificates when visiting Abu Dhabi.

From 20 August, individuals including tourists that have been vaccinated, will be allowed to enter public places.

Individuals that are fully vaccinated abroad can now also register their vaccination certificate to enter areas only permitted to vaccinated individuals.

Before departure to Abu Dhabi, passengers need to register at the Register Arrivals section on the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) website or on the app.

Individuals need to then complete the register arrivals form and upload an international vaccination certificate.

Once approved, an SMS will be sent with a link to download the Al Hosn App.

On arrival, passengers will receive a Unified Identification Number (UID) either at the airport or via the ICA website or app.

Individuals can then download and register on the Al Hosn App by using the UID and phone number used for ICA registration or when taking a PCR test in the UAE.

A one-time password (OTP) will then be sent to complete the Al Hosn App registration process and can then be used to check status, vaccination information, test results and travel test requirements and use a live QR code.

The green status on the Al Hosn App will permit entry into public places in Abu Dhabi.
