In the month of July, over 2,500 Emirates passengers used of the home check-in services.
Passengers were able to travel from Dubai with ease as the check-in process was completed at home.
Home check-in was booked for groups of four to five individuals travelling to Amman in Jordan, Beirut in Lebanon and Male in the Maldives.
Over 130 home check-ins were completed along with 150 pieces of baggage were delivered to the Dubai airport over the long Eid weekend.
400 home check-ins took place for individuals that have already availed of the service before.
The home check-in process includes agents checking in passengers to their flights, issuing boarding passes, weighing and tagging their sanitised baggage and ensuring they are delivered and loaded onto the aircraft.
Each piece of baggage is disinfected with a long-lasting protective coating that lasts for up to 72 hours.
The home check-in service is available for up to 24 hours before the flight with the service up to 8 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Pre-travel COVID-19 testing, as well as Marhaba services for assistance through airport immigration, is also available.
All passengers who test negative for COVID-19 receive a medical certificate within 24 to 48 hours to meet the entry guidelines.
The land and leave service offers passengers the option to have trained agents collect their baggage, clear it through customs, sanitise the baggage and then deliver it directly to their doorstep.
