Resident doctors in the UAE can now apply for golden visas in recognition of all the effort put in by being frontline heroes.
The decision is in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Doctors selected will receive a 10-year residency visa along with visas for their family.
The initiative will offer high-quality living standards and a work environment for the medical staff to work and reside in the UAE.
Doctors licensed by the UAE health regulatory bodies can apply for the golden visa from July 2021 to September 2022.
Registration is available on the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship website with Dubai doctors available to apply on the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs website.
Doctors that would like to apply for the golden visa in person can visit one of the seven offices, affiliated with the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship.
