31 IPL Matches Will Be Played In The UAE

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that 31 matches of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will be played in the UAE.

The matches will start on 19 September and will run for a duration of 27 days.

13 of the matches will be held in Dubai with 10 matches in Sharjah and 8 in Abu Dhabi.

The final match of the IPL will be held on 15 October.

The IPL is usually held in India but will be played in the UAE for the third time.

Jay Shah, Honorary Secretary of the BCCI said, "The 14th season, which was postponed in May this year in the wake of the pandemic, will resume on 19th September in Dubai with a blockbuster clash between the teams Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians."
