New Exhibition At The Louvre Abu Dhabi

Louvre Abu Dhabi along with Richard Mille, the Swiss watching making brand, has announced the launch of a new annual exhibition called Louvre Abu Dhabi Art Here.

Additionally, The Richard Mille Art Prize has also been created in an effort to promote the best contemporary art pieces.

For the first launch, Emirati and UAE based artists will be focused on for the exhibition and the prize, in line with the 50th anniversary of the UAE.

The exhibition will offer artists with the yearly opportunity to showcase their contemporary artwork and will run from November 2021 to March 2022.

The theme for the year is ‘Memory, Time and Territory’, which will focus on the UAE's legacy as well as a focus on the past, present and future.

One of the artists selected for the exhibition will receive The Richard Mille Art Prize with a cash prize of $50,000 as well as a ten-year commitment between the museum and Richard Mille.
