Updated Home Quarantine Procedures For Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee along with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center has updated the home quarantine protocols for individuals that have come into contact with an individual that tested positive.

Individuals that are vaccinated need to quarantine for seven days and then take a PCR test on day 6. 

If the PCR test result comes back negative, the individual can remove their wristband on day 7.

Individuals that have not been vaccinated need to quarantine for 12 days and can get a PCR test done on day 11. 

If the result for the PCR test is negative, the wristband can be removed on day 12.

Individuals registered in the home quarantine programme and have come into contact with an individual that has tested positive can avail of free walk-in PCR tests as well as remove their wristbands at COVID-19 Prime Assessment Centres at Zayed Port, Mafraq Hospital and ADNEC in Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain Convention Center, Al Khubiaisi, and Madinat Zayed in Al Dhafra, as well as all SEHA hospitals in Al Dhafra.
