The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi along with Retail Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Culinary, have launched the Abu Dhabi Shopping and Dining Season.
The season will run until 31 August and offers a variety of experiences from dining to shopping as well as promotions.
In partnership with The Huntr, Zomato and Smiles, individuals can enjoy ice-cream pop-ups, special menus and promotions available at various malls around Abu Dhabi.
The Ice Cream Lab will feature ice cream-themed activations including Pan-n-Ice, the original ice roll company from the UK as well as a showcase of 1,001 ice cream flavours in one location in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record.
The Shop and Win promotion held with Visa will offer individuals with Visa cards the chance to win amazing prizes, including cars and more, on spending over Dhs 200.
Etihad Airways will offer individuals with Etihad Guest Visa Cards three entries on spending Dhs 200 or more at malls. Four shoppers will receive one million Etihad Guest Miles points each.
High-profile guests including, make-up artist Ash K. Holm as well as international fashion director and editor, Nicola Formichetti will also take part.
His Excellency Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, Executive Director of Tourism and Marketing at DCT Abu Dhabi said, “Following our best-performing summer campaign ever last year, our objective is to continue empowering retailers, brands and restaurants to deliver a truly memorable season underpinned by a schedule of unique first-to-region experiences designed to amaze residents and visitors alike.”
