The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced updated travel protocols for citizens and residents on their return to Abu Dhabi after travelling.
The changes have already come into effect.
Individuals that are vaccinated and arrive from countries on the green list must get a PCR test done on arrival and do not need to quarantine. Another PCR test needs to be taken on day 6.
Vaccinated individuals arriving from countries not on the green list, need to take a PCR test on arrival, quarantine for seven days and also take a PCR test on day 6.
The protocol is only applicable for UAE residents and citizens that have received their second dose 28 days earlier, with vaccine documentation proof available on the Al Hosn App.
Individuals that are not vaccinated and travel to countries on the green list, need to get a PCR test done on arrival, do not need to quarantine and need to get another PCR test done on day 6 and day 12.
Unvaccinated individuals travelling from countries not on the green list, need to get a PCR test done on arrival, quarantine for 12 days and must get another PCR test done on day 11.
