The UAE and the Maldives have announced that a travel corridor is being created for the two countries that will allow easy travel between them.
The travel corridor will offer the opportunity to travel without quarantining if vaccinated.
The announcement was made at a press conference at the Arabian Travel Market by the Maldives Ambassador to the UAE, Aminath Shabeena.
The corridor will offer individuals from either country to ability to travel without showing their PCR test results if the individual has received both shots of the COVID-19 vaccine approved by the World Health Organisation.
The corridor is still underway and there is no specific date for it yet.
