The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) and the General Authority on Civil Aviation have announced that passengers coming from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, will not be allowed to enterr the UAE from midnight on Wednesday.
The entry ban applies to all passengers coming form these countries, or who have spent time in these countries within 14 days of arriving in the UAE.
The entry ban excludes UAE citizens, diplomats, official delegations, business planes and holders of golden residence visas.
Cargo flights will continue to operate, as will transit flights going through the UAE bound for these four countries.
