Suspension Of Flights Between India Extended

The General Authority of Civil Aviation and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority has announced that the suspensions of flights between India and the UAE is extended for an indefinite period.

All flights including national and international carriers will remain suspended with the exception of transit flights going back to India.

The initial suspension of flights announced last month, was due to end today but has been extended without a date to when they will recommence.

UAE citizens, diplomatic missions accredited between the two countries, official delegates, business persons and golden residence owners are still allowed to travel with a ten-day quarantine period and a negative PCR test taken no more than 48 hours before travel, on arrival, on day four and on day eight.

The authorities urge individuals with pre-existing flights to contact the airlines to reschedule their flights.

Cargo flights between India and the UAE will not be affected.
