Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has organised a virtual reading workshop titled ‘Reading is Good for the Soul.’ The workshop is created for citizens and residents over the age of 18.
It has been organised by the Dubai Performing Arts Programme and will be held on 30 March through Microsoft Teams.
During the workshop, two key issues will be discussed, the negligence of reading and a readers inability to obtain the desired benefit from reading as well as the methods to overcome them.
The workshop will be led by Ibrahim Al Yafi, a consultant and instructor in the field of developing human resources, organisations and leadership skills.
In line with March being the National Month of Reading in the UAE, various initiatives have been taken throughout the month to raise awareness on the importance of reading especially among the younger generations.
