To encourage cyclists, the Hudayriyat Cycling Challenge will take place at the Crown Prince Court in Abu Dhabi on 2 April.
The cycling event is organised by Abu Dhabi Sports Council in partnership with Majalis Abu Dhabi, and is open to all cyclists from ages 12 and above, and from different ability levels.
The race has two cycling options, 30km and 100km.
The 100km race will begin at 6.30am in which cyclists will cover 10 laps of a 10km circuit. The 30km challenge will start at 5pm with cyclists taking 3 laps.
Male and female cyclists compete separately.
A prize pool of Dhs 300,000 will be presented to the winner of the 100km race at 4pm. Winners of the 30km race will be awarded medals.
All participants of the event must present a negative PCR test taken 48 hours prior to the event, and vaccinated individuals with the 'gold star', 'E' or 'V' on the Al Hosn App must provide a negative PCR test taken within 7 days.
