Almost 65% of the elderly in the UAE have been given the COVID-19 vaccine. Those aged 60 and above have been prioritised to ensure their safety from the ongoing pandemic.
The elderly can visit vaccine centres without booking in advance to receive their vaccine.
After receiving the vaccine, individuals are encouraged to follow safety protocols by wearing a face mask at all times, sanitising and maintaining social distance.
The elderly, people with chronic illnesses as well as people of determination have been given priority to receive the vaccine.
