The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced that all residents holding Dubai visas and aged 40 and above, can now register to receive their COVID-19 vaccination at any DHA facility.
Additionally, the elderly aged 60 and above holding a valid visa issued in another emirate, that are residing in Dubai, can now also register to receive the vaccine.
All GCC nationals that have a valid Emirates ID can also now get vaccinated at any DHA facility.
DHA has also increased the age limit for those that can receive the vaccine. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine can now be administered to all individuals that are 16 years and above. The prior age limit was 18 years.
The Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine can now be administered to anyone aged 18 and above. The previous limitation was set for those within the age category from 18 years to 65 years.
Front liners and vital sector workers appointments will be scheduled along with the government departments and the institutions they work for.
