Around 58% of elderly people in the UAE that have chosen to vaccinate have already received their vaccine.
Senior citizens aged 60 and above have been given priority to get vaccinated along with people of determination as well as people that have chronic diseases.
Elderly people that wish to get vaccinated can visit the centres in any location without booking in advance or can receive the vaccine from the comfort of their home.
Health authorities advise people to continue taking precautions by socially distancing, wearing face masks and sanitising despite getting the vaccine.
