The Federal Public Prosecution has announced that according to the law, individuals that contract COVID-19 must inform local health authorities.
The Public Prosecution has stated that it is mandatory to inform the Ministry of Health and Prevention or any other health authority to ensure medical treatment is provided in order to curb the virus.
It states that those that violate the law will be subject to imprisonment and/or a fine of between Dhs 10,000 and Dhs 50,000.
