The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development has closed down 354 establishments due to the lack of preventive and precautionary measures taken to curb the spread of the virus.
The closures have taken place in three regions of the capital, within Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
The closures that have occurred are a part of the ongoing inspection campaigns to ensure establishments follow the protocols set by the government to ensure the safety of the public.
Due to workers being infected by the pandemic as well as the lack of safety measures taken, the closures have taken place.
The department has also advised business owners of all the establishments around Abu Dhabi to make sure they follow precautionary measures to ensure the safety of the employees as well as the public.
