The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has announced updated guidelines for everyone entering the emirate.
Effective from Sunday 17 January, everyone going to Abu Dhabi is required to have a negative PCR test or DPI test with results received no more than 48 hours earlier.
Those staying longer than four days and eight days, are required to take a PCR test on the fourth and eighth days respectively.
Residents who fail to take a PCR test on the fourth and eighth days are liable to be fined.
These measures apply to all UAE residents apart from those who have been a part of the vaccine clinical trials or who have been vaccinated as part of the national vaccination programme.
