Distance learning will continue in schools across Abu Dhabi for a further three weeks, it has been announced by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee today.
The decision has been made "as a precautionary measure to limit the spread of the virus and safeguard the health and safety of the schooling community."
This applies for all academic levels and is effective from Sunday 17 January.
Parents, guardians and academic and administrative staff in all schools have been urged to vaccinate against COVID-19, "to protect themselves against the virus and help develop comprehensive protection for the wider community, which will accelerate the safe return to schools."
