To kick-off the celebrations for the 49th National Day and the Commemoration Day holiday, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA( has amended transportation timings for smoother travel.
The RTA has also announced free public parking all across the city from 1 December to 3 December, 2020.
From 1 December to 3 December, the metro services will be available till 1am. The Red line metro will be in service from 5am to 1am while the Green line metro will operate from 5.30am to 1am.
The Dubai Tram will also operate from 6am to 1am, the following day.
Water Bus will also be available from noon up to midnight, from all Marina stations.
From 1 December to 2 December, the Main Stations for the Dubai buses which includes Gold Souq Station will operate from 4.25am to 0.29am while the Al-Ghubaiba Station will operate from 4.14am to 0.58am.
Sub-stations, including Satwa Station, will start from 4.45am to 11pm except for Route C01 which will be operating from Satwa. Al-Qusais Station from 4.31am to 0.08am. Al Quoz Industrial Station from 5.05am to 11.35pm, and Jebel Ali Station from 4.58am to 11.30pm.
The Abra services are as follows: Dubai Old Souq - Baniyas and Al Seef – Baniyas from 10am to 1am. Sheikh Zayed Road stations, Dubai Old Souq-Baniyas, Deira Old Souq- Sabkha-Al Fahidi-Al Seef from 4pm to 11pm, Old Deira Souq-Sabkha-Al Fahidi from 10am to 12.30am, and Jadaf-Dubai Festival Mall from 8am to midnight.
The Service Provider Centres and Customer Happiness Centres will close from 1 December to 3 December, 2020. The Service Provider Centres will resume business on 5 December, 2020 whereas The Customer Happiness Centres will be available for business on 6 December, 2020.
The Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Al Ramool, Deira, Al-Barsha, and RTA Head Office will be available throughout the weekend.
