Emirates New Agency (WAM) reported the death of His Highness Sheikh Ali bin Humaid bin Ahmed Al Mualla in a tragic car accident on Wednesday morning.
A statement issued by the Royal Court read: "The Court of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, the Member of Supreme Council and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, mourns the death of Sheikh Ali bin Humaid bin Ahmed Al Mualla, as he died today morning in an accident.”
The Royal Court expressed its deepest condolences on the death of the UAE royal and sent prayers for the departed soul.
According to the statement, due to COVID-19 precautionary measures in place, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Ahmed Al Mualla will be receiving condolences only by phone calls and messages for three days starting from Wednesday.
