Dubai based carrier flydubai is offering all its passengers free medical cover for cases of coronavirus COVID-19.
Cover is offered for all passengers who travel with flydubai from now up to 30 November and follows a similar initiave annouced in July from Emirates.
The cover offers assistance towards medical costs related ot coronavirus COVID-19 and is valid for 31 days from the date of the first flight taken. This applies to all journeys including one way flights, return flights as well as connections to any other destination as long as it is within the 31 day period.
The cover includes assistance of up to €150,000 per passenger for medical and hospital costs and also cost of quarantine of up to €100 a day for up to 14 days.
Passengers affected do not need to fill any claim forms, but simply contact a dedicated assistance team through telephone, email or WhatsApp, 24 hours a day seven days a week.
