Due to a high demand for the COVID-19 laser test required to enter Abu Dhabi, seven new centres have opened.
The seven new test centres are operated by the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) and offer the rapid coronavirus COVID-19 laser based DPI test that was introduced last month, which gives results within 5 minutes. A negative test result will allow the person to enter Abu Dhabi within 48 hours of the test.
The new test centres are located in Abu Dhabi at Zayed Sports City and on the Abu Dhabi Corniche, and in Hili in Al Ain. The other four are in Dubai at Port Rashid and Al Khawaneej, and a further two, one in Fujeirah and one in Ras Al Khaimah.
The operating hours for the centres in Abu Dhabi are seven days a week from 8am to 8pm and outside of Abu Dhabi from 10am to 8pm seven days a week.
The test can be performed on those over 12 years old and carry a fee of Dhs 50.
