UAE Nationals Require Prior Approval To Fly To Most European Countries

Emirates has announced that UAE nationals need to seek approval from the Consulate General of their European destination, within their departure country, in order to travel there. This applies to all European countries with the exception of Greece and the United Kingdom.

If a UAE national is flying from Dubai to France, they must apply to the French Consulate General in Dubai, however of they are flying from Australia to France via Dubai, they must apply to French Consulate General in Australia.

All passengers flying form Dubai to Europe and the United Kingdom, as well as other destinations, are still required to take a coronavirus COVID-19 PCR test no more than 96 hours before their departure, and present a test certificate with a negative result when checking n.

Residents in Dubai do not need any prior approval to fly out of Dubai, however approval is required to return.
