Emaar, the Dubai based real estate company that owns Dubai Mall, has announced that none of its staff across any department will have a job title. Instead their email signature and business card wil refer to the department they work in.
In an email sent to Emaar staff announcing the decision, Emaar chief Mohamed Alabbar, said the company is focussing on talent and not job titles.
This applies across every Emaar division and each department, and also applies to Mohamed Alabbar himself, who ended the email with just his name and no mention of the title he previously referred to.
