Abu Dhabi based airline Etihad and Dubai based Emirates, have announced a limited number of one way flights from various cities around the world, to bring back residents currently abroad and wanting to return to the UAE.
Etihad, along wth Dubai based Emirates, have been operating repatriation flights from the UAE for those stranded here, however both airlines will also now operate special inbound flights from selected number of cities which started on 9 May.
The flights are only available to passengers with valid UAE residence visa and who have successfully received pre approval to fly from Twajudi Resident Service.
Upon arrival in the UAE, residents will under go medical tests and will isolate for 14 days.
Etihad has currently announced 12 cities where it will fly residents back to Abu Dhabi from between now and the end of May, and Emirates has also confirmed a number of cities including London and Frankfurt.
