Repatriation flights from the UAE to the Philippines have been cancelled by Emirates and Etihad. The decision has been made as a result of the Philippines government temporarily restricted passenger flights into the country until at least 9 May.
Emirates was scheduled to operate repatriation flights from Dubai to Manila on Sunday 3 May, Wednesday 6 May and Friday 8 May, and Etihad from Abu Dhabi on Tuesday 5 May, Thursday 7 May and Friday 8 May.
The Philippines government has suspended all incoming flights for one week in an effort to ease pressure on its quarantine facilities.
