Nakheel, the Dubai master developer behind communities and locations including Palm Jumeirah, Discovery Gardens and Jumeriah Village Circle, is supplying 485,000 different items of protective clothing to front line medical staff across Dubai as part of its on-going pledge to support the fight against coronavirus COVID-19.
The supplies have been delivered to the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) for distribution among doctors and nurses across the emirate.
In a statement Nakheel said, "We are pleased to help support the medical teams who are among the frontline staff working tirelessly to treat people in need and protect Dubai's citizens, residents and communities. We thank these heroes for their unwavering efforts to mitigate this unprecedented situation.
The disinfection programme Nakheel undertook across its 647 residential buildings in Dubai has just been completed, and the company continues with the strict sanitisation procedures it has put in place in its buildings and malls.
