To support residents communicating with friends and family around the world, UAE telecommunications company Etisalat has stepped up to provide subscribers free of cost internet voice and video facility for the two months of April and May.
Existing users to the service are required to unsubscribe from the ongoing internet plan in order to subscribe for free to use the internet calling facility. New subscribers can directly subscribe to the new plan with two months free.
In a message to its subscribers, Etisalat said, "
To stay in touch with your loved ones during these challenging times, subscribe to the monthly internet calling plan service for free in April and May and enjoy voice and video calls with supported apps. To subscribe, SMS ICP to 1012. Together at home matters."
Etisalat's internet calling plan costs Dhs 50 per month if used on mobile phones and Dhs 100 per month if used across WiFi service at home using multiple devices. Subscribers can use VoIP apps such as C'Me, BOTIM, HiU to avail the plan.
