Saudi Suspends Entry From UAE And Eight Other States

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has put a temporary ban on arrivals from nine countries, including the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, South Korea, Egypt, Italy and Iraq starting Monday, 9 March. 

The step has been taken as a precautionary measure to put a stay on the spread of coronavirus. 

No citizen and resident of the Kingdom can travel to any of these nine countries and entry into the Kingdom is suspended for those coming from these countries or who were in these countries 14 days before their arrival. 

All flights from UAE to Damman, Jeddah, Medina and Riyadh are cancelled until at least Wednesday, March 11.
