His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the brother of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE passed away on Monday. The news was announced by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa in a statement made through the Ministry of Presidential Affairs.
At the directives of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, the UAE will observe an official mourning period of three days with all flags flown at half-mast.
His Highness Sheikh Sultan was born in Al Ain in 1955 and was the second son of the Founding Father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
