Another World Record In Dubai

In a city where records are set and broken frequently, it is still exciting to hear of new achievements and firsts. Just over 6 months after opening, The Lounge in the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, has now entered the Guinness World Records (GWR).

The Lounge which was opened in February 2019 has officially been verified for being the world’s 'highest lounge in a building’.

Spanning floors 152, 153 and 154, The Lounge is a state-of-the-art lounge with an an outdoor terrace at a height of 585.36 metres.

With The Lounge entering the GWR, the tally of world records won by Burj Khalifa now reaches eight.

Previously won GWR titles include:

  • ‘Tallest Building’ in the world
  • Tallest man-made structure on land’
  • ‘Highest outdoor observation deck’ for At the Top 
  • ‘Largest Light and Sound Show on a Single Building’,
  • ‘Largest LED-illuminated Façade’
  • ‘Tallest LED-Illuminated Façade.’
