The organisers of the upcoming Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, have confirmed that the American rockers Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing for the very first time in the UAE this September. Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), the Abu Dhabi Showdown Week will run from 1 to 7 September, leading to the UFC 242 fight.
The band will take to the stage on 4 September at the currently under construction ‘The Arena’ on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
Another concert performance will follow on 5 September, however the band’s name is yet to be confirmed.
The Californian rockers previously performed in the Middle East in front of Egypt’s Great Pyramid of Giza in March this year.
Tickets are not yet on sale, however the organisers have confirmed that prices will start from Dhs 250 and will go up to Dhs 995.

Abu Dhabi Showdown Week will feature city-wide events and activations including pool and beach parties, retail promotions and F&B deals at beach clubs, nightclubs, hotels and malls along with two massive concerts.
