Public sector will get five days off for Eid Al Fitr as announced by the UAE Cabinet under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
Eid Al Fitr holiday for public sector employees will begin on Sunday, 2 June and work will resume on Sunday, 9 June.
The news was confirmed on Twitter by the UAE Cabinet.
Earlier it was announced that the Eid holiday for both public and private sectors will begin on Ramadan 29, that falls on Monday, 3 June and will last until Shawwal 3, which would either fall on Thursday, 6 June or Friday, 7 June depending upon the date of Eid Al Fitr that depends on the moon sighting.
