This week's weather report is a cool respite from the hot weather that has picked up in last few days and almost touching on 40°C.
Dubai residents will see changes until Wednesday as scattered rainfall of different intensities is expected over the next four days. Thunderstorms and strong winds will accompany the rain.
National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has urged motorists to take extra caution on the roads and has advised people to stay away from rough seas.
The amount of cloud will start to decrease gradually from Thursday 23 May.
The temperature is expected to reach 40°C and can drop to as low as 30°C with expected scattered rainfall. Moderate winds will cause dust to blow and create poor visibility. The sea will remain moderate to rough at times.
